This is the Privacy Policy of the FLIT2go platform (hereinafter, the “ Platform ”) managed by SMART MOBILITY SERVICES SPAIN, SL (hereinafter, “ SMS ”).

SMSS reserves the right to modify or adapt this Privacy Policy at any time. Therefore, we recommend that you review it each time you access the Platform.

I. Who is the Data Controller?

The data that is collected or that you provide us voluntarily through the Platform -whether by making use of it as the owner of vehicles or their lessee- as well as all those that you can provide us in the contact forms, via email or by telephone, will be collected and processed by the Treatment Manager, whose data is indicated below:

Data collected during the registration process as a user and subsequent use of the Platform

Data collected during the payment process through the platform

Data provided in the contact form

You can contact us directly through the “Contact ” section located on the Platform. For this, it is necessary that you identify yourself and indicate your personal data, so that SMSS can contact you, if necessary, to attend to your request for information. The necessary and mandatory data to be provided by the user to carry out such registration, are marked with the symbol *. In the case of not providing such fields, the sending of your request will not be allowed.

The legality of the treatment of the data that you provide us is your consent when sending the contact form accepting this Privacy Policy.

Data provided through an associated Rentacar website

There may be cases in which we can introduce the possibility that you can provide us with your data through the website of an owner with whom we have closed a collaboration agreement. When this possibility is feasible, you can transmit your personal data to the owner through its form on the web and in this way it is the owner who provides us with some of your data in our system (Flit2go). In this way it is possible that you receive an email indicating that the corresponding owner has invited you to our Flit2go platform and that for this purpose you download the App and enter your credentials to access it, proceed to finish the registration and finally to make the reservation you want at any time. 

For this purpose, and in an illustrative and non-limiting way (although it would be indicated at all times what data would be requested) the data that the user would provide on the associated Rentacar website would be:

III. Purpose and use of personal data collected

SMSS will process the personal data collected to:

(i) register and manage your user profile on the platform;

(ii) provide the assistance services provided on the platform that you may need;

(iii) manage and respond to the queries that you send us through any of the means of contact and

(iv) manage the claims that you could file.

The personal data collected will be kept while you remain registered on the Platform and for thirty (30) days after you unsubscribe in the event that any other user or any third party files a claim against you, except for the personal data that are necessary to comply with the corresponding tax obligations, which will be kept for the period established by the applicable regulations. 

The personal data that you provide us will not be communicated to third parties other than those in charge with whom SMSS can contract the provision of any of the services provided on the platform (eg call center) and to the authorities that may correspond in accordance with the applicable regulations. .

SMSS will not make international transfers of your personal data.

IV. Use of cookies and the activity file

SMSS, on its own account or through a third party contracted to provide measurement services, may use cookies when a user uses the Platform.

What are they? Cookies are files sent to the browser through a web server in order to record the user's activities during their browsing time.

The cookies used on the Platform are only associated with an anonymous user and their computer, and do not themselves provide the user's personal data.

IP addresses

The Platform's servers may automatically detect the IP address and domain name used by the user. An IP address is a number automatically assigned to a computer when it connects to the Internet. All this information is recorded in a duly registered server activity file that allows the subsequent processing of the data in order to obtain only statistical measurements that allow knowing the number of page impressions, the number of visits made to web services, the order of visits, the access point, etc.
